About Us

In 1993, the developer established our subdivision without providing for maintenance of our common landscape areas, or an easy method of restaffing the Architectural Review Committee.

In 2002, a group of residents formed a voluntary association to maintain the property. They tried to keep this effort voluntary, but financial resources were unreliable.

In 2003, volunteers gathered enough signatures to create an association that could legally maintain common areas, assess dues to cover expenses, and bring democracy to the appointment of the Architectural Review Committee. The result was The Meadows on Rio Grande Homeowners Association.
